An Anderson man has died nearly two weeks after crashing a motorcycle he paid for in counterfeit bills, police said.The Herald Bulletin reported that a person contacted police June 14 to say they had just sold a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, only to discover the $4,500 in cash was counterfeit, police said.Shortly after a dispatch was sent out about the stolen motorcycle, Jamie King, 40, crashed the bike near Indiana 9 and County Road 950 South, striking a utility pole, police said.King was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he died Tuesday.According to court records, King was convicted in 2004 of theft and forgery.
