INDIANAPOLIS -- Police have identified the robbery suspect shot and killed by police at a McDonald's on the west side late Saturday night.
Cameron Gover, 30, died at the scene.
Police have arrested a man that was with him on charges of robbery and felony murder because a death occurred during the robbery. That man has been identified as Briscoe Jones, 27.
Police say they were called to investigate a robbery in progress just after 11:00 p.m. at the McDonald's on West 38th and Lafayette.
"As officers approached the building to investigate they confronted an armed man who was exiting the building. That man raised his weapon officers fired and he was shot. The man then backed into the McDonalds and he collapsed," IMPD Sgt. Catherine Cummings said.
Police say it is unclear how many officers shot at Gover.
Everyone who was inside the restaurant at the time of the robbery has been interviewed by detectives, according to IMPD. Police say that's how they were able to weed out Jones.
No one else was injured.
In an earlier press release, IMPD stated the suspect's name was Cameron Glover. In a follow-up release, they said the suspect's name was Cameron Gover.
This is the second police-involved shooting in the Indianapolis area this week. Police shot a man in Speedway who had barricaded himself inside a minivan Thursday evening.
The standoff began around 1:10 p.m., when officers tried to serve a warrant to 57-year-old Douglas Gaultney in the area of Cunningham Drive and 18th Street. He was wanted on a probation violation warrant stemming from a possession of marijuana charge.

When officers tried to serve the warrant, he reportedly brandished a shotgun at officers.
The standoff lasted for hours and drew in assisting officers from IMPD and the Indiana State Police.
State police attempted to use tear gas and an armored police vehicle to get Gaultney to come out of his van.
Around 7 p.m., Gaultney exited the vehicle and pointed a shotgun at police. Officers then fired, striking and critically injuring him.
No police were injured in the exchange.
Gaultney is listed in serious condition at Eskenazi Hospital.
