More people voting early in 2016 than 2012 or 2008

INDIANAPOLIS -- Early voting totals in Marion County continue to be above the pace set in the last two elections.

As of 5 p.m. Friday, 55,8945 people have voted early in the county, per the Marion County election board.

Early voting began Oct. 12.

Early voting lasts through Nov. 7 at room W122 of the City-County Building. The hours vary depending on the day. Check the hours below.

Weekday Hours
Monday, Oct. 24 to Friday, Oct. 28: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 31 to Friday, Nov. 4: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 7: 8 a.m. to noon

Weekend Hours
Saturday, Oct. 29 & Sunday, Oct. 30: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 5 & Sunday, Nov. 6: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You can park on the west side of Delaware Street, across from the City-County Building for free. The spots will have signs saying "Early Voting Only."
