INDIANAPOLIS -- Now that Gov. Mike Pence is about to be Vice President Mike Pence, he's going to have to get used to even more scrutiny and criticism than he faced in Indianapolis.
Some of it has already begun, as people nationwide have been donating money to Planned Parenthood, then marking it in honor of Mike Pence.
When making the donation in Pence's honor (or memory) and typing the governor's office in Indianapolis, Planned Parenthood will send a certificate of appreciation to that address.
A tweet from Planned Parenthood states people have been donating in honor of Pence and Hillary Clinton.

Planned Parenthood hasn't exactly been against people using Pence's name and office address.
In a statement released Tuesday, Betty Cockrum, Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky President and CEO, said the following:
“We are pleased that this outpouring of support recognizes the good work PPINK does and we welcome the financial support to continue to serve our patients who need us the most. Hoosiers have recognized how bad Pence is for women for a really long time and now the nation is joining us in the fight against him.”
She said donations for Planned Parenthood have increased by 1,700 percent since the election. More than $25,000 has been donated in the past week.
Pence has long been an opponent of Planned Parenthood.
In 2011, he introduced an amendment to the U.S. House, proposing to deny Planned Parenthood federal money.
Pence's office should be used to receiving mocking notes from opponents. Last year, women called Pence's office, describing the details of their periods.
That was to protest Indiana's HEA 1337, which prohibits abortions on the basis of the race or sex of a fetus, or a potential disability. It was spurred by the Facebook page Periods for Pence (which has since expanded to Periods for Politicians.)

The reason behind the protest calls at the time was "If Pence wants to be involved in our lives, we'll tell him."
So far, there hasn't been one Facebook page or person who's been behind the Planned Parenthood donations, but a few celebrities have donated., notably comedian Amy Schumer and actress Amber Tamblyn.
