INDIANAPOLIS -- If you've tried to vote, but there was a delay, don't panic -- it's supposed to happen.

If poll workers have temporarily closed a precinct to count absentee rolls -- that's OK. Indiana state law requires it.

Poll workers are receiving poll books, showing who's voted absentee for the election. The process is taking longer than usual due to the increased number of people who voted absentee.

We've heard from a few people who've tried to vote across Marion County, specifically at a polling place near 10th Street and Shadeland Avenue.

Marion County voting officials say poll workers will let people vote once that process finishes.

This process will happen at precincts across the city.
