A semitrailer overturned on Interstate 69 near Indianapolis and blocked all southbound traffic for hours Wednesday evening.The Indiana Department of Transportation said in a Twitter post the crash Wednesday was expected to leave the southbound lanes closed until nearly 11 p.m. near mile marker 5 in Fishers. Southbound traffic was being diverted at mile marker 10. Lanes were reopened on I-69 just before 9 p.m. Wednesday night.Emergency officials in Fishers said the crash sparked a brush fire, which was extinguished shortly after 7 p.m.The driver of the semi refused medical treatment, officials said.Police said the semi was driving on the shoulder of the interstate when it suddenly swerved to avoid a concrete barrier, went out of control and ended up on its side.
