The manager of a Bloomington cafe where a tip jar containing money for disadvantaged schoolchildren was stolen said the theft has led to an outpouring of generosity.The Pour House Cafe's tip jar with about $165 intended for school supplies and backpacks for needy children was stolen last Sunday.After The Herald-Times reported Monday on the theft, cafe manager Lyne Brown said one man donated a new tip jar brimming with bills and coins, while another brought in a $165 check. Two days later, a woman donated a check for $300.Brown said the theft "turned out to be a blessing in disguise."All the donations will be used to buy backpacks for children in need through the local Salvation Army's Back to School Program.
