An overturned tractor-trailer spilled a cheese mixture on Interstate 465 in northern Indianapolis Friday morning, causing a significant traffic backup on the highway's eastbound lanes.

The driver told police that he was adjusting his radio when he looked up and saw he was off the road. He overcorrected, causing the truck to overturn shortly after 6 a.m. between the exits for Michigan Road and Meridian Street, state police said.

A cheese mixture intended to be used as feed for animals was spilled onto the highway, police said.

The driver wasn't hurt.

Police said a lane still was closed for a cleanup at about 9:30 a.m.
