Pence ordered flags to fly at half-staff

SOUTHPORT, Ind. - A funeral was held for a Southport soldier killed in the line of duty Saturday afternoon.
Friends and family said goodbye to Sgt. Tristan Wade, 23, who was killed March 22 when enemy forces in Afghanistan attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
His funeral was held at Southport High School, where Wade graduated from in 2009.
Gov. Mike Pence ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff at government facilities in Marion County in honor of Wade.
Wade also served in the Iraq War.
Wade is survived by his wife, daughter, parents and two brothers.
