A marine war veteran took matters into his own hands when someone tried to break into his home.
Lloyd Macarty, 77, was in his Oklahoma home watching TV when he heard someone tap at his door.
When the intruder attempted to break down Macarty's door, he grabbed his handgun.
"When the (intruder) hit that door, that's when I shot through the door. (The) intruder was hollering and screaming, I could hear him going clear down the street, hollering," Macarty said.
Police are still searching for the intruder.
Macarty said this is the third time this year that someone has tried to break into a home in his neighborhood.
