PYLESVILLE, Md. - A Maryland teacher's aide was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student, Maryland State Police said.
Amanda Kay Miller, 35, was arrested and charged with sexual abuse of a minor, third degree sex offense and two counts of fourth degree sex offense, police said.
The teen said he and Miller had been having sex since December 2012. Officials said the student also told them Miller took him home from school on occasion and purchased him cigarettes.
Police said they were tipped off about the allegations on Feb. 8.
Police arrested Miller Monday at North Harford High School. She was booked into the Harford County Detention Center where she was later released after posting a $50,000 bond.
