CLEVELAND - A police source told WEWS-TV, our Scripps station in Cleveland, that there were pregnancies among the three missing women found in a home Monday night.
A specific number was not mentioned, but the source told WEWS that pregnancies were "multiple" between Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight.
The source said one of the women had two to three miscarriages because she was malnourished.
Another police source told the TV station that at least five babies were born in the home. It was not immediately clear if that number includes Berry's 6-year-old daughter, who was found in the house with the women.
The women were rescued after getting the attention of a neighbor and calling 911.
There were initial reports of more children in the home, but police have not released any more details other than information about the 6-year-old child.
Three brothers -- Ariel, Pedro and Oneil Castro – were arrested Monday night in the case.
