Art Ginsburg, more widely known as the beloved television chef "Mr. Food," is dead at age 81, The Associated Press reported.
Ginsburg died at his home in Weston, Fla., following a yearlong struggle with pancreatic cancer, according to the AP.
Featured on local TV broadcasts for decades, Mr. Food was known for his quick weeknight cooking recipes and the trademark phrase "Ooh! It's so good!"
According to the Flint Journal, Ginsburg was originally a butcher who started a local television food program in 1975 at a TV station in Schenectady, N.Y.
"Even when I was 7 years old, I would ask my mom if I could make lunch," Ginsburg told the newspaper in a 2011 interview. "Mixing all the ingredients together, it made me feel like a scientist. I was creating something. I loved it."
