"The Bachelor" star Melissa Rycroft and partner Tony Dovolani sambaed their way to the triple nines on Monday's "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars."

"Practice was tough. We got kicked. We got swatted. I mean, everything," Rycroft said. "When it comes together like this on a monday night, you go, 'That's why you do it.'"

Soap siren Kelly Monaco and partner Val Chmerkovskiy tied them for first with their powerful paso doble.

"It's a different energy when you go out there knowing what you're doing and you're focused and can put 110 percent into something specific. It makes a difference. It shows," Monaco said.

Olympian Shawn Johnson and partner Derek Hough came in third. The judges called their quickstep one of, if not the best, dance ever on "Dancing with the Stars."

"I felt like when Len said the challenge last week, you know, push the boundaries, let's see something you haven't seen before, I think he kind of gave us a little bit of a space," Hough said.
