INDIANAPOLIS -- Two men were critically wounded after a shooting on Indianapolis' northeast side early Wednesday morning.

Indianapolis Metro police responded to the 4400 block of Park Forest Court just after 3 a.m.

Police said both men who were shot were trying to rob a group of people who were partying inside an apartment.

The men were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital. One person was arrested, but details of the arrest were not immediately released.

Police said the altercation began when one person came to the door. His two accomplices were already inside.
