Eagles' Westbrook Out For Sunday's Game Vs. Cowboys

POSTED: 7:21 pm EST November 8, 2009

(Sports Network) - Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

He was listed as questionable on the injury report following Friday's practice session, but Westbrook will miss his second consecutive game as he recovers from concussion-related symptoms.

Rookie LeSean McCoy will start in his place.

Westbrook was hurt in a win over the Redskins on October 26 and sat out last Sunday when the Eagles defeated the Giants. He returned to the practice field this week, although he didn't participate Friday.

Westbrook, 30, also sat out Week 3 against Kansas City with an ankle injury. He has scored two touchdowns while amassing just 197 yards on the ground and 130 through the air on 17 catches through five games this year.

Also inactive for Philadelphia are wide receiver Kevin Curtis (knee) and starting linebacker Chris Gocong (hamstring, quadriceps).
