The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required, campaign officials said. Tickets will be distributed at Obama’s Elkhart campaign office, located at 116 South Main Street.

Tickets will be available at the office on Monday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The visit comes as speculation swirls that Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh is on the short list as a possible running mate for Obama.
