Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will make a stop in Noblesville to promote her new book.

Instead of signing copies of "Going Rogue" in major cities, Palin will tour the country by bus with her family, stopping in smaller communities.

She is scheduled to appear at the Border Books and Music store at 13145 Levinson Lane on Nov. 19 starting at 7 p.m., after making a stop in Fort Wayne earlier in the day.

"She wants to be unconventional. She is unconventional," HarperCollins spokeswoman Tina Andreadis said of the tour. "She feels like this is where her fans are and Harper feels this is where she'll sell the most books."

Palin drew a huge crowd during a campaign rally in Noblesville when she was running for vice president on the ticket of Sen. John McCain.

"Going Rogue" has an announced first printing of 1.5 million copies and has been at or near the top of Amazon.com’s best-seller list for weeks.
