Contest rules

You must agree to the rules in order to enter the contest.
  1. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment of any money is necessary to enter. Purchase will not improve the chances of winning. All federal, state and/or local rules and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
  2. Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old to enter and a resident of Indiana. Employees of WRTV6, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc.("The McGraw-Hill Companies"), Internet Broadcast Systems, Inc. ("IBS") and Lumiere du Corps Resort are not eligible (collectively, the "Sponsors").
  3. To Enter: To enter go to theINDYchannel.com between 9a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 through 8:59a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, September 30th, 2010 and type in the appropriate information requested (name, address, phone, and email). Only one entry per day per person will be accepted. Sponsors are not responsible for late, misdirected or illegible entries or for technical or Internet access failure.

  4. Prize (s): The prize is a sixty (60) minute complimentary cosmetic application and consultation at Lumiere du Corps Resort. Lumiere du Corps Resort is located at 6100 South 275 East, Lebanon, Indiana 46052. No expiration dates or blackout days apply. Total cash value of prize is $95.

    The sixty (60) minute cosmetic application and consultation includes an application of Aveda makeup and a trained esthetician helping you find the perfect Aveda makeup for your skin type and teaching you the newest application techniques and trends.

  5. Prize Conditions: Prizes are supplied by Lumiere du Corps Resort. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or substitutable for any other item by winner. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value for any prize, for any reason. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and fees, plus any other incidentals. Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release form prior to receipt of a prize acknowledging that The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. has the right to publicize his/her name and likeness, the fact that he/she has won the a certain prize and all matters incidental thereto without the payment of any compensation for a period of one (1) year. The winner will be required to waive any and all claims against the Sponsors for any loss which may occur from participation in the contest or from the receipt or use of the prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and forfeit of prize.
  6. How to Win: Random drawing will be held on Friday, October 1st, 2010 at RTV6 1330 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Winner will be notified by phone and email. Winner must provide WRTV6 with appropriate identification (Driver's License or picture ID) and pick up prize at WRTV6 by October 6th, 2010.
  7. Odds: Odds of winning will depend upon number of eligible entries received.
  8. Winner's List: For a winner's list, send a self addressed, stamped envelope, after October 6th, 2010 to "Winners List" Lumiere Cosmetic Application and Consultation Contest 1330 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
  9. Contest Conditions: The contestants and winners release the Sponsors, their respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest, including their respective employees, agents and representatives from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the contest and the awarding and use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury and/or property damage and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
  10. Disqualification: In the event that a winner fails to claim his or her prize within 5 days of notification or fails to meet the eligibility requirements of the contest, the unawarded prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from remaining entries.
  11. Miscellaneous: All entries become the sole property of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. and none will be returned. Winner will be required to give The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. his/her social security number, legal name, age, current address, and phone number for tax record keeping purposes only.
  12. Privacy: WRTV6 on occasion shares information collected about contestants included on the entry forms with other units within the family of The McGraw-Hill Companies whose products or service we feel may be of interest to you.   13. Disputes: By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the judges. Any dispute regarding the sweepstakes or these rules will be resolved by a panel of judges from The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. and their decision shall be final.
