INDIANAPOLIS -- While results on the field left a lot to be desired, fans said they were thrilled to be in Lucas Oil Stadium for a Colts game for the first time, even if it was just preseason. The crowd was a little more subdued after the loss, but before the game, they were hyped, 6News' Tanya Spencer reported.Plenty of noise, lots of blue and boatloads of spirit accompanied fans on their way into the stadium.
Anita Simeone, a Colts fan for 21 years, was a little emotional as she made her way into the team's new digs."I was here Sunday … because I've got season tickets. It's beautiful," Simeone said."I think the new stadium is going to add a lot of enthusiasm, but I don't know how any Colts fan could be more hyped up than we already are," said fan Sherris Johnson.Fans were wowed just before the game by the opening of the retractable roof.
