INDIANAPOLIS -- The Colts will open the doors of the new Lucas Oil Stadium next week to help out the New Orleans Saints as Hurricane Gustav heads toward the Gulf Coast.6News' Sports Director Dave Furst reports that the Saints will go through their game-week preparations in Indianapolis, practicing in Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Saints are scheduled to open the regular season in the Superdome against Tampa Bay on Sept. 7. The storm is expected to strike the Gulf Coast -- anywhere from Texas to the Florida panhandle -- around Tuesday morning.
