Pacers' Granger Leaves With Sprained Foot

POSTED: 11:57 pm EST February 18, 2009

(Sports Network) - Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger sprained his right foot early in Wednesday's 103-94 loss to Charlotte and did not return.

Granger, who is scheduled to have an MRI on Thursday, departed with 10:50 left in the second quarter and finished with 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting.

"That last shot I took right before I left the game, it felt like something popped in my foot," said Granger. "Then I thought I just pulled it and I ran down the other end, and that's when I said 'I've got something wrong.'"

On the season, Granger is averaging 25 points and five rebounds for the Pacers.
