Ann Arbor, MI -- (Sports Network) - Eugene Spates scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds, and Northeastern cruised to a 73-60 win over IUPUI in the first round of the 2KSports Classic.

Matt Janning scored 13 points and also collected five rebounds for the Huskies (1-0), who move on to face Michigan in the regional final Wednesday night. The winner earns a trip to the semifinals at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Nkem Ojougboh scored 12 points, and Chaisson Allen added 11 points and five boards for Northeastern, which led 32-22 at the half and never looked back.

Robert Glenn scored 19 points to lead IUPUI (0-1). Alex Young scored 17 points and Leroy Nobles added 10 points for the Jaguars.
