Sutton-Brown's layup attempt as time expired was an airball, and the teams headed for overtime. Bevilaqua's layup gave Indiana a 74-71 lead with 2:45 left. Kristen Mann's three-pointer tied it up, but Sutton-Brown's layup gave the Fever a 76-74 edge. Langhorne missed the potential game-tying jumper, and Ebony Hoffman was fouled with 17.8 ticks showing. She hit both shots to make it 78-74. Langhorne then had her shot blocked by Catchings to all but seal the deal.
