Colts CB Jackson Suffers Season-Ending Knee Injury

POSTED: 12:49 am EST November 6, 2009

(Sports Network) - Indianapolis Colts cornerback Marlin Jackson will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury he suffered in practice.

Jackson told the Indianapolis Star he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday afternoon's practice.

The 26-year-old Jackson, a first-round draft pick of the Colts in 2005, ends his season early for the second straight season. He played seven games in 2008, but injured his knee during practice and had surgery before missing the remainder of the season. Jackson played in just four games this season, recording one interception.
