NCAA Game Summary - George Mason Vs. Indiana

POSTED: 1:37 pm EST November 22, 2009

(Sports Network) - Cam Long nailed the game-winning three-pointer with 5.4 seconds remaining, as George Mason posted a 69-66 win over the Indiana Hoosiers on the final day of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

Despite a defender in his face, Long threw up a shot that put George Mason on top, 68-65. Indiana's Jeremiah Rivers was fouled at the other end of the floor. After making his first attempt at the charity stripe, Rivers missed the second free throw intentionally, but Rashad Whack secured the defensive rebound.

He made 1-of-2 at the foul line and Maurice Creek's desperation three was off the mark.

Long ended with 18 points for the Patriots (3-2), who had lost a pair of close games to ranked foes Villanova and Georgia Tech in the first two rounds of the tournament. Mike Morrison posted 17 points and 13 rebounds while also recording seven blocks.

Creek scored 15 points and Verdell Jones III added 13 for the Hoosiers (2-3), who previously lost to Ole Miss and Boston University.
