The home of Indiana University ranks sixth in a Top 20 list assembled by Sports Illustrated On Campus. Bloomington was the only Indiana city named.

Madison, Wis., was named the top college town. The magazine said Madison, home of the University of Wisconsin, is "a place where athletes and intellectuals and activists and granolas and good ol' Midwestern boys all come together in support of one thing: the Badgers."

Carbondale, Ill., home of Southern Illinois University, was named the worst college town for sports fans. The SIU students, according to the publication, are "notorious more for imbibing spirits than showing spirit."
