Thoughts On The Indianapolis 500: Bob Kevoian
Radio personality Bob Kevoian was hooked when he first saw the Indianapolis 500 in 1983.
Kevoian, one half of the main duo behind WFBQ's "The Bob & Tom Show," called the race "probably the greatest thing I've ever attended."
The Los Angeles native recalled the 1983 race, which was won by Tom Sneva."I'll never forget the very first time I watched the cars going around the track, at the start-finish line, it was probably the most thrilling thing I've ever experienced in my life," Kevoian said. "I had my mom and my brother there, and our hearts raced forever -- we couldn't stop."It was just as exhilarating as can be."
