AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Police are expected to examine new video, obtained by a Detroit TV station, that reportedly shows a clearer picture of a man suspected of throwing a chair into the crowd during Friday night's melee during an Indiana Pacers-Detroit Pistons game.

Authorities already had reviewed a separate video that they said shows the man throwing the chair, Detroit TV station WDIV reported. Police released an enhanced image of the man from that video, hoping someone will recognize the man or that he will come forward.
The new video, obtained by WDIV, shows the suspect more clearly, the station reported.Earlier, Auburn Hills police Lt. James Manning commented on the first video."He just picks up the chair, and really nonchalantly as possible, throws the chair over his shoulder, behind him," Manning said. "Not aiming the chair. He was just recklessly throwing it."The man was wearing a baseball cap and a leather jacket."We're hoping to identify him so we can interview him, bring this investigation to a close," Manning said.Police said the man should turn himself in. He could face felonious assault charges. No other charges have been filed in connection with Friday's brawl. Oakland County Prosecutor David Gorcyca said charges -- most likely include misdemeanor assault and battery -- could be filed against fans and players. Gorcyca said the only possible felony charge currently under consideration would be against the person who hurled the chair.Gorcyca said investigators would continue to review videotapes and interview witnesses from Friday night's melee before issuing charges.
