Colts Player Facing Charges A No-Show

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis Colts player in trouble with the law was a no-show at a voluntary practice Wednesday.Mike Doss practiced with the team at the Colts complex. The safety entered a not guilty plea in an Ohio courtroom Tuesday on four criminal charges.Police said he fired up to six shots from a handgun in the downtown nightclub district in Akron early Sunday morning.
Colts head coach Tony Dungy has promised swift and significant punishment.Doss could also face disciplinary action by the NFL. Doss has been with the Colts for the past two seasons.
