Indianapolis, IN -- Butler University announced it will not retain head football coach Kit Cartwright after this season.

The Bulldogs have lost all eight games this season and have three games remaining, all of which will be coached by Cartwright.

Cartwright is in his fourth season as Butler's head coach. He guided the Bulldogs to a 4-6 record in his initial campaign, but Butler has won just three of 30 games since.
