Hrovat Named Offensive Coordinator At Indiana State

POSTED: 6:47 pm EST February 13, 2006

(Sports Network) - Indiana State head football coach Lou West announced Monday that Blair Hrovat will be the team's new offensive coordinator.

"We are delighted to have a coach with the expertise of Blair Hrovat join our program," West said. "He is a bright coach who will continue to help build what we have started in a positive direction. It always is a major advantage when you can get someone with previous head coaching experience on your staff. Add to that the national recognition factor, and it makes Coach Hrovat an excellent choice for us."

Hrovat spent four years at Division III Allegheny College (Pa.) as head coach from 1998-2002. He compiled a 26-14 record and his offense averaged over 35 points a game during his stay. He also spent time at the University of South Dakota where he served as assistant head coach and offensive coordinator from 1992-1998.
