INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Colts have spent this week trying to fix one big problem -- the offensive line.
After seeing Andrew Luck sacked three times and knocked to the ground many more times in Sunday's season opener at Chicago, the Colts started tinkering with the roster.
On Monday, they brought in veteran guard Trai Essex. On Tuesday they signed rookie tackle Bradley Sowell from the Buccaneers practice squad and brought back center A.Q. Shipley to the practice squad.
It's not clear if any of those of three can make an immediate difference. Instead, coach Chuck Pagano expects his linemen to improve.
They've gotten the message. Center Samson Satele insists fans will see a different performance against Minnesota.
