INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Joe Reitz announced his retirement from the NFL Tuesday morning.
Reitz spent 7 years with the Colts as a tackle and a guard.

Reitz, who is from Fishers, Indiana, was named the Colts Man of the Year for 2016.

He played 73 games for the Colts since 2010, starting 44 of them.
“I’m privileged to have had the opportunity to coach Joe for five seasons here in Indianapolis,” head coach Chuck Pagano said in a team release. “He stood out as a selfless player who was respected by his teammates in addition to being a tremendous family man."
Reitz is the third Colt to retire after the 2016 season. Outside linebacker Robert Mathis and punter Pat McAfee also decided to leave the NFL.
