INDIANAPOLIS -- Andrew Luck is "day-to-day" with a sore right shoulder, Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano said at a press conference on Wednesday.

However, Pagano said he is "supremely confident" that Luck will play on Sunday.

Luck rested at practice on Wednesday. Speculation has grown since the 4th quarter on Sunday, when Luck could be seen wincing when backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck congratulated him for scoring a touchdown by patting him on the chest.

Luck said the issue with his right shoulder is nothing more than "bumps and bruises." He expects to play on Sunday.

In the Colts victory over the Titans Sunday, Luck ran his league-leading interception total to seven, putting him on pace for the second-highest interception total in league history behind George Blanda's 42 in 1962 in the pass-happy AFL, and Luck is ranked 32nd among in passer rating (65.1).

And then there were questions about whether or not he was even healthy.

HORSEPLAY: What was turning point in Colts win?

"Some games are less physical than others, and that's sort of the nature of it. This past one certainly was physical," Luck said, dodging a question about injured ribs. "There are a bunch of guys I'm sure in both training rooms recovering from stuff, but for me it's sort of business as usual. Go out there, get over those bumps and bruises, those sort of nicks, and get out there and play."
