CARMEL, Ind. -
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health launched their new health and wellness program Saturday afternoon.
The “Change the Play” initiative is a program designed to empower kids to take charge of their health and wellness.
Nearly 50 children and their families were in attendance to help launch the initiative.
The program will have eight weekly challenges that will give children the knowledge to make positive fitness, nutrition and health choices for now and in the future.
Every week, Luck will post a new challenge online that will contain a fitness and nutrition component.
“Thanks to my parents, I learned at an early age what a difference a healthy lifestyle can make,” Luck said. “With Change the Play, I want to kick-start a movement that inspires kids to be the quarterback of their own health.”
Parents are encouraged to sign their children up for the free web-based program.
