No Colts blackout: Meijer buys 1,200 remaining tickets

INDIANAPOLIS - Good news for Indianapolis Colts fans wanting to watch the game on TV Saturday: Tickets have sold out.

The Colts announced Friday morning that Meijer had purchased 1,200 remaining tickets for the playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs.  The grocery chain said it planned on donating the tickets to local military families.

“Meijer understands just how important it is to support the communities where our customers and team members work and live, and are pleased to offer these playoff tickets to local military families as a way of thanking them for all they do,” Co-Chairman Doug Meijer said.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
