INDIANAPOLIS -- Add another activity to Peyton Manning's retirement plans: Comedy Central Roasts.

Manning will join comedians Jeff Ross, Rob Riggle, Jimmy Carr and others in the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe on Labor Day.

Lowe is a vocal supporter of the Broncos and Manning on Twitter, and posted about his disappointment when he heard of Manning's retirement.

At least one of Manning's comments during the roast has been leaked. He made a joke about conservative political commentator Ann Coulter.

"I’m not the only athlete up here," Manning said, according to TMZ. "As you know, earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby."

Lowe also took a shot at Manning during the roast, which airs Labor Day.

"Peyton Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion and a Hall of Famer but it didn’t give him a big head," Lowe said. "That came from years of inbreeding."

Aside from receiving well-deserved accolades – and a trip to the White House – Manning has kept busy so far. He joined country singer Dierks Bentley for a fishing trip, and is seen making game day cupcakes in a new ad for Papa John's.

The roast won't be Manning's first run at comedy – he took the helm of Saturday Night Live as host of the March 24, 2007, episode.
