Despite multiple reportsof Reggie Wayne's plans to retire from the NFL, he has yet to file the official paperwork.

He appeared on NFL Network over the weekend and when asked if he'd be in training camp for 2016, said "You never know."

Since Wayne hasn't officially filed for retirement yet, it's possible the Colts will offer him a 1-day contract so he may retire as a member of the team, similar to recent retiree Jeff Saturday.

Wayne was noncommittal when asked if he'd play in 2016.

"This is the healthiest I've been," he said.

Wayne's contract wasn't renewed this season after 13 years as one of the most prolific players in Colts history.

After leaving the Colts he had several teams express interest before signing a one-year contract with the New England Patriots. Wayne asked for his release a few weeks after he signed.

Wayne is the franchise leader in regular season games played (211) and wins (143) and ranks second in receptions (1,070), receiving yards (14,345), receiving touchdowns (80), 100-yard games (43) and consecutive games with a reception (134).

He was selected for six Pro Bowls (2006-2010 and 2012) and was also picked as the Associated Press First Team NFL All-Pro in 2010.
