MONTREAL -- Former Colts wide receiver Duron Carter seemed to show football fans everywhere why he has the word "former" in his title Thursday night.

Playing for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League, Carter made a spectacular touchdown catch in a game against the Ottawa Redblacks. Carter jumped above one defender, caught the pass, then held on to the ball as another defender hit him in the end zone.

The problem is what he did after that.

For some reason, Carter ran to Ottawa's bench, bumping into an opposing coach and knocking him down while continuing his celebration.

This enraged Ottawa players on the bench, who quickly got in Carter's face, where some pushing and shoving began.

Carter continued to walk down the bench, raising one, then two hands in the air. He eventually took off his helmet and yelled. He, along with an Ottawa player, was ejected from the game.

Duron Carter spent last offseason on the Colts, but didn't make the final squad. Carter is the son of NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Chris Carter. He caught 9 passes for 126 yards in the preseason.
