Fans of NCAA Tournament-bound teams, welcome to the Circle City.

You may think playing in Indianapolis for the first round of the NCAA Tournament doesn't mean anything special, but you'd be wrong. This simply can't be just a business trip.

First, let's all get acquainted. The teams playing in Indy on Friday are:

  • No. 7 Michigan and No. 10 Oklahoma State at 12:15 p.m.
  • No. 2 Louisville and No. 15 Jacksonville State at 2:45 p.m.
  • No. 7 Dayton and No. 10 Wichita State at 7:10 p.m.
  • No. 2 Kentucky and No. 15 Northern Kentucky at 9:40 p.m.

If you're looking for tickets for any of the games here, they're available through the NCAA ticket exchange PrimeSport or on StubHub.

The games are front and center this Friday, but don't forget to explore the city. They can even help with your fandom.

The Indianapolis Museum of Art just put its "LOVE" statue back up. If you think your team's offense is a work of art, see if you can get it added as an exhibit.

Build up your team's chemistry with one of the local Escape Rooms. There are many in the area, so you won't have to share with your opponent.

Or get in touch with your inner child at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, the world's largest children's museum. Basketball is just a game, after all.

And of course, you can't forget the visit to the NCAA Hall of Champions in Indianapolis.

If you want to watch a game when you're not cheering on your own squad, there are plenty of sports bars and restaurants. The freshmen in your life (those under 21) can even go to some of them.
