Beech Grove beats Monrovia during 'Gray Out' night in honor of basketball coach Matt English

BEECH GROVE, Ind. -- A big win for Beech Grove Friday night against Monrovia as the team honored Beech Grove Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Matt English who is battling brain cancer. 

Students, staff and fans showed their support for Coach English donned in the gray shirts designed by Brie Shivley, one of the counselors and the cheerleading coach for Beech Grove High School. 

Coach English - who has battled three bouts of brain cancer - showed up at Friday's game to watch Beech Grove battle Monrovia. 

Beech Grove beat Monrovia 33-26. They're now 5-1 as they head into week 7.
