Greensburg, Carmel win Indiana high school basketball titles

INDIANAPOLIS - The Carmel Greyhounds and Greensburg Pirates won state basketball titles on Saturday.

Carmel topped Cathedral 57-53 in the 4A title game, and Greensburg defeated Fort Wayne Concordia 73-70 in overtime in the 3A final at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Carmel finished the season at 25-2, while Cathedral finished up at 25-6. The Greyhounds had also beaten Cathedral during the regular season.

Greensburg lost just one game all year, finishing at 26-1 on the season.
