INDIANAPOLIS -- Kokomo High School and Hamilton Heights have canceled their high school football game Friday night scheduled for Lucas Oil Stadium to help clean-up tornado damage in Kokomo.

The city of Kokomo was ravaged when an EF3 tornado with wind speeds of 152 miles per hour blew through the town Wednesday, causing damage to hundreds of homes.

Hamilton Heights players will drive up to Kokomo to meet the Wildkats around 4:30 p.m. and assist the United Way.

Refunds are available for fans who purchased tickets to the game. You can also have your ticket refund donated to the Kokomo Disaster Relief Fund. Contact your original ticket seller for more details.

The Indianapolis Colts reached out to the Kokomo players and their families when the team was made aware that the high school football game, which was scheduled to be played at Lucas Oil Stadium, was canceled.

In Noblesville, canned goods and water are being accepted by the high school's band as part of a drive to support Kokomo at Friday night's football game.
