INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana is hungry.
It's been a month since the Hoosiers (3-5, 1-3), won a game and years since they qualified for a bowl.
And after last weekend's bungled finish against Minnesota, the team's understandably eager to make amends.
The Hoosiers' next chance comes Saturday against Illinois (3-5, 0-4), which looks like it's stealing page out of coach Kevin Wilson's playbook.
Both teams throw first and their offenses can score points by the dozens. Both defenses give up more than 32 points per game both coaches are trying to get their programs in position for a bowl bid.
The question is which team is better positioned: Indiana, which is seeking a breakthrough November victory? Or the Fighting Illini, who are trying to prove they can just win a Big Ten game?
The winner will end a losing streak and move within two wins of becoming bowl-eligible.
