CARBONDALE, Ill. - Shakir Bell ran for a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to help Indiana State pull away for a 24-3 victory over Southern Illinois on Saturday night.

   Bell finished with 160 yards on 33 carries for Indiana State (3-2, 1-1 Missouri Valley).

   He scored on a 2-yard run with 13:02 left in the game to give his team a 14-3 advantage, and ran another one in from 2 yards out with 9:48 left to make it 21-3.

   Kory Faulkner, the quarterback for Southern Illinois (2-3, 1-1) was pressured most of the game by the Indiana State defense. He completed just 12 of 24 passes for 137 yards and was intercepted three times.
