INDIANAPOLIS -- Many couples enjoy their experience at the Indianapolis 500 together, but few have the experience Mr. and Mrs. Freeze did at Sunday's race.

The couple got married -- yes, married -- on the bricks at the Pagoda Plaza at Lap 100 of the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

"We come every year," the bride said. "Why not make a party out of our anniversary?"

In attendance were the couple's friends and family, all surrounding them during the ceremony. Before the ceremony started, they signed the "guest book," which was an Indianapolis 500 flag.

"The gift of marriage is a miracle, and this celebration presents -- with all of your friends -- this wonder opportunity to celebrate the future of your lives together," the couple's officiant said.

The couple's vows were difficult for everybody to hear, on account of the engines of the IndyCars driving around nearby, but they probably wanted it that way.
