INDIANAPOLIS -- The run-up to the Indianapolis 500 is now a sprint, and with most hotels sold out, some Hoosiers are looking to cash in.

Dana Meeks runs an apartment complex just down the road and around the bend from the Speedway.

Normally she rents her units starting out with a one-year lease. But not this month.

Next week, Hermitage Apartments will rent out several unfurnished units – gas and electric included – for three nights at $750.

All over websites like Airbnb and Craiglist, unique properties are popping up for rent – like the shed Rhonda and Gene Perkins are renting for $95 a night. That comes with parking and a port-o-potty.

We compiled some of the most outrageous prices and crazy deals currently available. Click the image below to see what we found:

Many more listings are available to sort through here, but buyer beware on AirBNB and Craigslist, not everything is as clean as it appears. Safety guidelines for AirBNB here and for Craigslist here.
