SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- Pippa Mann is okay after the second crash of the day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Mann lost control of her No. 63 car for Dale Coyne Racing coming out of Turn 2 during qualifying for the Indy 500. Mann's car struck the wall, but it was not a violent crash. Mann walked away and was cleared to resume driving after being checked by medical personnel.
Mann's crash was the second of the day. Rookie Max Chilton hit the wall during practice just before qualifying began. He also was not hurt.
