INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana University graduate and Chicago Blackhawks' national anthem singer Jim Cornelison will sing "Back Home Again in Indiana"  at the Indianapolis 500 in May.

Cornelison graduated from the Jacobs School of Music in 1992. He has sung the national anthem for all home Blackhawks games since the 2008-09 season.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to come back to Indianapolis for the '500,'" Cornelison said in a release. "And to be asked to sing 'Back Home Again In Indiana' is a special treat and honor. Thanks to the team at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for thinking of me."

Cornelison previously sang at the 2012 Ryder Cup, Arlington Million and other sporting events.
